Description |
Wood(Pine). Hand-whittled child's yo-yo consisting of two halves of a wood disk fastened at the center with a 1/4 inch diameter dowel pin. Edges of two halves are beveled on the top surface. Remnants of modern cotton string are wound around center pin. Date of child's yo-yo is unknown, but crude construction suggests 18th century to early 19th century. |
